Shai Hope, the terrific West Indies player has registered his fourth consecutive ODI ton against Sri Lanka. Playing the first ODI of three games, Hope became the only WI player with four back-to-back hundreds against the Dimuth Karunaratne-led team.

As the first game proceeded, Hope gave hopes to West Indies with his terrific century scoring 110 runs on 133 balls. The host team yielded a slight average target of 233 runs as the visitors preyed on 232 with 6 balls to spare.

It was an easy chase as Evin Lewis and Hope bind forces adding a partnership of 100 in just 23rd over. SL got a breakthrough in 29th over as Dusmantha Chameera targetted Lewis.

However, it does not affect WI’s explosive batting line-up much. The match was later coiled up by Bravo and Jason. Hope has brought up a few of the records as he slammed a hundred at Sir Viv Richards Stadium.
