Umar Akmal to play Cricket for the United States?
Umar Akmal, the Pakistani middle-order batsman, has travelled to the United States in hopes of a better future.
In the early hours of Friday morning, Akmal shared the news of his leaving in a tweet.
Akmal is expected to play matches while in the United States, according to sources. He, like opener Sami Aslam, wants to sign a long-term contract in the United States.
It’s worth noting that Aslam left for the United States after being passed over for Pakistan’s final trip to New Zealand, scheduled for the end of 2020.
According to sources, Akmal will consider returning to Pakistan if he is named to the playing XI for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy matches this season.
