Ramiz Raja Gives a Hint on New Coaches of Pakistan Team:

The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mr. Ramiz Hasan Raja wished the fans in Pakistan a very happy new year today. Ramiz revealed his plans for the upcoming plans and also prayed that 2022 becomes a great year for Pakistan Cricket.

Speaking regarding future projects, he said that he along with his team is currently working on Women’s and U19 PSL. Ramiz has also been emphasising on the quality of pitches in Pakistan since his appointment as the Chairman and said that they’ll be working on the drop in pitches idea very quickly. He also revealed that PCB will consider the idea of having a T-10 tournament in Pakistan.

Another important news that is circulating on all social media platforms is the construction of a stadium in Islamabad prior to the Champions Trophy 2025. Ramiz met PM Imran Khan and got the approval of construction of a stadium in Islamabad. Ramiz and his team is firmly focused to build a World class stadium with High Performance Center and rooms in Islamabad.

Pakistan Cricket Team currently have the services of Saqlain Mushtaq as the Head Coach. Saqlain had a great tenure as Pakistan’s head coach. He began coaching of the Pakistan Cricket team in World T20 2021, and he remained the Head Coach till the home series against West Indies. Speaking on whether or not, Saqlain will continue as the Head Coach, following is what Ramiz Raja said:

“We’ve talked to Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and even Saqlain Mushtaq himself regarding the appointment of new coaches for Pakistan Team. The general suggestion is that foreign coaches should be with the team.”

This implied towards the fact that we could very possibly see foreign coaches with the national team but since Ramiz discussed is with Saqlain Mushtaq himself, so Saqlain could continue as the Head Coach as well. Last but not the least, Ramiz Raja stated that fans are PCB’s asset and they will give every possible facility to make the fans happy.
