As the COVID outspread shattered the fans’ dreams to enjoy the matches live from stadiums, a few of the PSL 5 matches were held behind closed doors and the tournament begot to cancel later.
Till yet, many countries are proceeding with their bilateral series, T20 series, or any other cricketing tournament without the crowd. However, a big announcement regarding the PSL crowd came a few days back as it delighted the people.
The management was already up to the criteria. However, PCB CEO, Wasim Khan has confirmed the board’s meeting with the NCOC, National Command Operation Center, and the two parties will be deciding on the scenario to proceed or cancel.
If approved, there will be a limited number of people allowed following social distancing and other COVID protocols to stick to the health first. However, according to a number of sources, the crowd’s availability is already confirmed and the meeting will be resumed to decide guidelines, stakeholders’ preferences, etc.
