The opening match of the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) is to begin in a few hours. The current title defenders Karachi Kings will be locking the horns with the Sarfaraz-led Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium, Karachi.
The match will start at sharp 8:00 PM PST rather than 7:00 PM as the PSL 2021 opening ceremony will be played at 6:45 PM in malls, cinemas, parks, stadiums, and homes.
Notably, the ceremony has been pre-recorded in Istanbul, Turkey, and will be played on the screens in Pakistan. QG and KK will be giving tough challenges to each other as both of the teams have got some splendid players at their ends.
Babar and Amir will make a new record:
A few players from Kings such as Babar Azam and Mohammad Amir will be reaching the milestones if perform consistently. Notably, Babar ranks second when it comes to the highest run-getter in PSL.
No one has surpassed Kamran Akmal yet but getting 22 runs against QG will make Babar the top-run scorer of the PSL. Along with him, Amir needs only one wicket to complete his 50 PSL wickets.
