The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) continues to give rise to opportunities as another training camp begins at Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Center at the National Stadium, Karachi, on 29th July.

It is going to be an extensive eight-week camp that will polish 32 U19 cricketers who are the future of Pakistan Cricket. All the players will gather at NHPC on Wednesday, 28th July, to formally begin the camp a day later.

Out of 32 probables, 17 include the Pakistan U19 members who were chosen versus Bangladesh in April. Notably, the tour was canceled a day before it commenced amidst the rising COVID cases at the venue.

Notably, the training camp will undergo under the supervision of U19, Shaheen’s coach, Ijaz Ahmed, along with the support staff.

The camp’s purpose is to provide exposure, training, scenario-based match practice to the players, developing them ahead of the ICC U19 World Cup due to take place in January 2022.

It is pertinent to mention that players and staff members will undergo a COVID test at their residence before they assemble in Karachi for progression. Cleared members will be retested upon their arrival.
