Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd T20I
The Kiwis declared a comfortable win by five wickets against the Men in Green who failed to clinch the ladder in all departments. However, the guest team tried their best with the ball as Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi grabbed 4 and 3 wickets respectively, but due to the least economical spells of various bowlers, the side lost the first game.
They lacked consistency in the top-order as Mohammad Hafeez was clearly seen struggling. None of the batsmen except the all-rounder Shadab Khan who captained the side in place of injured Babar Azam could score any impressive runs. Shadab and Faheem added 42 and 31 respectively to stable somehow.
Despite the fact that both teams were underpower missing on their experienced players, the guest team remained magnificent. It can be another blow to Pakistan as Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, and Tim Southee are to be parts of the further encounters.
