Pakistan vs India | The Biggest Cricket Rivalry Continues in Dubai Today:

The Biggest Clash in the history of cricket is all set to take place once again. India against Pakistan is always a high voltage, high tension and high drama match. Let it be in any ICC event or a bilateral series, when these two South Asian sides clash, the ratings shoot up, the tension rises amongst the fans and the players too feel the heat of this contest. Pakistan and India will face each other for the sixth time in World T20 events. So far it has always been a one sided affair with India winning all the previous 5 World T20 encounters against Pakistan.

Not only in World T20 events, but India have always edged past Pakistan in the shortest format of the game. Pakistan till date have defeated India only once in this format, in 2012. Both the South Asian giants will lock horns today at Dubai. Two of the greatest batsmen of this generation, Virat Kohli and Babar Azam will lead their respective sides. Both skippers have stated earlier that they will be pressure free heading into this game, however we all know that India vs Pakistan is all about who handles the pressure better. Both teams are stacked, plenty of star power is in both dugouts and we could watch an absolute classic tonight. Both teams have never played against each other in UAE in this format of the game. Indian players featured in the recently concluded IPL so they have a little idea of how the conditions will be. However Pakistan has played a couple of warmup games before this high voltage clash.

Both teams will heavily rely on their top order. India would love inform KL Rahul to fire. While the explosive Rohit Sharma could be the X Factor in the Indian Team. Virat Kohli has had some issues with his form but performing in important matches is the quality of big players. On the other hand, Pakistan side is also heavily reliant on their openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Both the openers have had a sensational run this year in the shortest format of the game. Pakistan would also love Fakhar Zaman to repeat his Champions Trophy 2017 heroics. Fakhar also looked in great touch during the warmup games of Pakistan. While Pakistan edges past India in terms of experience, India has a better death bowling attack as compared to that of Pakistan.Overall, this is probably the first time that both teams look even on paper and we could be in for a real treat. Toss will obviously play a key role in Dubai. The first game at this venue was played yesterday between England and West Indies, and not even 120 runs were scored collectively in both innings, so a low scoring game is expected. The match begins at 7 PM (PST).

Expected Lineups:

Pakistan: Babar Azam, M Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, M Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
