The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the squads for Pakistan Cup Women’s One Day tournament that is set to begin from 9th September in Karachi.
The event, composing of 14 matches, will mark the kick-start for women’s domestic, international cricketing season. The four teams, Blasters, Strikers, Dynamites, and Challengers will be led by Sidra Nawaz, Kainat Imtiaz, Javeria Khan, and Muneeba Ali Siddiqui respectively.

Notably, Strikers is the fourth team added to the panel in the tournament for the first time. Seeing women’s craze gradually rising in the sport from different realms of Pakistan, the PCB has induced another team to provide further opportunities to a wider pool.
Their induction into the team has also doubled the number of 50-over matches to fourteen from seven.
On each of the seven playing days, two matches will be played simultaneously at the main National Stadium ground and the Oval Academy Ground that is a part of the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre, located inside the National Stadium arena.
Surprisingly, the tournament will be broadcast live and its details alongside, prize money distribution policies, will be shared in a short course.
