Pakistan Crush India by 10 Wickets to end World Cup Jinx after 29 Years:

After 29 years of wait, Pakistan finally end the jinx of getting defeated again and again against India in World Cups. Pakistan began their 2021 T20 World Cup campaign against arch rivals India. As usual, before every IndoPak encounter, there was hype, there was tension and there was a lot of pressure once again on Pakistan. However to everyone’s surprise, Pakistan actually dealt nicely with the pressure and finally ended the dominance of India in World Cups.

Ever since 1992, Pakistan were unable to defeat India in World Cups. Let it be ODI or T20I World Cup, failure was the fate of Pakistan always. Tonight the fate got changed and Babar Azam became the first Pakistani Captain to end this losing streak. The game began with Shaheen Shah Afridi rattling through Indian batting. Inform KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma were sent back early to the dugout thanks to some great new ball bowling by Shaheen Afridi.

Soon after the openers, Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed by Hasan Ali and Pakistan were all over India. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant put a 50+ partnership to bring India back in the game. However apart from that 53 run stand between Pant and Kohli, nothing went right for India. Pakistan kept picking wickets on regular intervals and India managed only 151 runs on the board. Shaheen was the star of the show with his 3 wickets in his 4 over spell. The chase was never difficult for Pakistan as India failed to pick any wicket for 14 overs. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan continued their phenomenal run during this year in T20I Cricket. Let it be PowerPlay overs or after PowerPlay overs, Pakistan kept thrashing the Indian attack and sailed over the line with ease. A 10 wicket win would be something that India will never ever forget. The jinx ended and ended with a commanding performance.

Final Scorecard:

India 151/7 20 Overs
Virat Kohli 57(49), Rishabh Pant 39(30)
Shaheen 3/31, Hasan Ali 2/44

Pakistan 152/0 17.5 Overs
M Rizwan 79(55), Babar Azam 68(52)
