Pak vs WI 1st T20I:
Date: 28th July 2021
Venue: Kensington Oval, Barbados
Time: 7:00 PM PST, 10:00 AM local
On one hand, where Pakistan are coming facing off a heavy defeat versus England in the T20I series, the men in maroon must be confident ahead of the 4-1 victory over Australia lately.
The men in green gave a ray of hope after exceptionally grasping the first T20I match but failed in the rest of the two. Babar Azam and co will have to bounce back or else, it will be an alarming situation for them ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Lately, Barbados has hosted an ODI series between Australia and West Indies. The track has not turned out much beneficial for the batters but the bowlers had gripped them with extra bounce.
It was noted that chasing has been a piece of cake either. Hence, the chances of the teams batting first are more clear if they go with the flow whilst scoring.
Rain is expected at 11:00 AM (Caribbean time) and may cause a short interval in between.
Predicted playing XI:
Pakistan: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Hafeez, Fakhar Zaman, Sohaib Maqsood, Azam Khan, Imad Wasim, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi
West Indies: Lendl Simmons, Evin Lewis, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Fabian Allen, Dwayne Bravo, Hayden Walsh, Obed McCoy, Fidel Edwards
