Pakistan tour of South Africa proceeds in Proteas’ homeland as the two teams have already winded up first of three ODIs. The guest team gave thrills to the watchers and unexpectedly won the first ODI at Centurion.

As the second ODI of a three-match series is to take place at Johannesburg, the hosts are likely to win the encounter due to their past winning history since 1994. Also, to level the series 1-1 will be another reason to win the game scheduled for 4th April.

If we look at the data, Pakistan have locked the horns with South Africa five times in Johannesburg’s ground. Out of five, the men in green managed to win once as their triumph came in 2019 during the Pakistan tour of South Africa’s 4th ODI at the Wanderers.

On the other hand, the Proteas have won all four matches facing Pakistan at the Wanderers cricketing stadium. It would be challenging for the guests to present 2-0 stepping in the stadium with their defeating history for almost three decades.
