Fakhar Zaman enters a list of records declaring 193 runs on 155 balls. As the second ODI took place at the Wanderers, Johannesburg, Pakistan maintained a history of losing in the stadium.

Despite Fakhar’s majestic inning that was close to a double ton, the men in green failed in putting the team effort as always relying on a single player.

His innings included 18 fours and 10 sixes that struck at a brilliant strike rate of 124.52. As the team hunt for the series victory by 2-1 tonight, they could not chase what they were looking for.

It will be now a matter of do or die in the deciding ODI to be played on 6th April. Either the hosts’ Proteas or the visitors Pakistanis will be triumphing the series by 2-1 as it gets leveled after SA’s conquer by 17 runs.

For a moment, it looked like that the game is in the hands of Pakistan. Although it was not a good start Fakhar’s game-changing inning brought them back in the game as the contest continued.

All thanks to the wicketkeeper De Kock from SA who pressurized the men in green enough after targetting in-form Zaman.
