Mickey Arthur rated his Tenure with Pakistan Team the most Chaotic and Exciting one

Mickey coached Pakistan team for around 3 years , During an interview with Aamir Sohail on his YouTube channel Mickey said he loved it, he loved every minute of it. It was chaotic, exiting and fulfilling in so many different ways. He said it was just amazing to deal with so many skilled young players coming from an unstructured system and trying to get them in structured system was challenging as it took some time. It’s the emotions and dealing with Pakistani media which was tough as Pakistani media is uncompromising along with crowd, their excitement and noise he added.

Mickey coached Pakistan team for around 3 years also termed former Pakistan Captain a very popular leader inside the Dressing Room and said that he enjoyed Coaching with ex-Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed during his tenure with the Pakistan Team.While discussing Sarfaraz’s personality and looked back at his association with Pakistan cricket. He said:”Sarfaraz had something I hadn’t seen before. He had the ability to be an authoritative voice, like a disciplinarian on the field, but when he came into the dressing room, he transformed into a brother to the guys. He had that.”He added:”People say what happened on the field, like his movements, but they didn’t see the other side of Sarfaraz in the dressing room. He was a very popular leader inside the changing room, and I loved working with him.
