Pakistan’s renowned cricketing star, Shahid Afridi has spoken in favor of the veteran Pakistani duo, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik, believing in their contributions to the nation that can further be rendered. Afridi feels the national fold needs Malik and Hafeez for the T20 World Cup following their experience.
Discussing the PCB‘s chapter of trying numerous young chaps, he says they have failed to appeal to the management for their selection. Notably, in the last few months, a couple of youngsters have been provided opportunities to prove their potential but have majorly displeased.
As the world’s event, the T20 World Cup 2021, is just a few days ahead, the team Pakistan is assaying different combinations to pick one that fits the best. But the trial still commences as men in green’s collapse in all formats is not behind the doors.
Consequently, Afridi favors Malik and Hafeez’s selection in the crew as the all-rounders together add an experience of over 41 years in the T20 format (both from 2006-continue).
