As the fourth encounter of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) is underway, Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars are taking on each other. Gladiators gained their strength after they added the West Indies super smasher Chris Gayle to their squad.
Sadly, the Gayle storm will be bidding farewell to Gladiators tonight as he got NOC from his national board for the t20 PSL games. Being committed to the national duties, the Universe Boss will not be rendering much of his services to the Sarfaraz-led side.
Notably, a team is known to gain its strength on adding Gayle. Everyone thought that he will be a star for the Purple Force – He was targetted earlier in Gladiator’s first encounter.
LQ vs QG: A fact about Chris Gayle
If one discussed the ongoing match, Gayle’s fifty has come up in an incredible way as the opponent fielders continued to drop the catches. Those mesmerizing boundaries rocked the National Stadium will chants.
Notably, his first fifty has come up after straight eleven innings in the PSL history. He smashed 68 off 40 and the innings included 5 sixes, fours each.
Unfortunately, it’s only going to be two games because I don’t know what will happen after that due to international duty. I have to play a few T20Is for West Indies against Sri Lanka and after that, we will try to work it out to come back in the PSL as well,” said Gayle
The above statement means there are minor chances for him to return to PSL after committing his national duties.
