Babar Azam has been one of the most stylish batsman in the history of Pakistan Cricket. He is consistent, he is sharp and he loves to score loads and loads of runs. Babar Azam now holds the record for scoring most runs in a single ODI World Cup edition and T20 World Cup edition for Pakistan. In the 2019 ODI World Cup, he scored 474 runs in 8 games, which is the record for most runs in a single ODI World Cup edition by a Pakistani batsman. Babar scored 303 runs in World T20 2021, which is the record for most runs in a single World T20 Edition by a Pakistani batsman. It is also the record for 3rd most number of runs scored by a batsman in a single World T20 edition.
Most Half Centuries:
Babar Azam has scored 3 half centuries in World T20 2021. It is the record for joint most number of half centuries in a single World T20 Edition. Babar Azam has 24 half centuries in his career, the joint second most by any player in the history of T20I Cricket. Babar Azam has played just 67 games yet and he is already in top 2 of this list. With Babar, there is Rohit Sharma who also has scored 24 half centuries but in 116 games. At the top is Virat Kohli with 29 half centuries in 94 games.
