HAIDER ALI” “THE FUTURE OF PAKISTAN CRICKET’ Pakistan is well-known for producing quality top-class pacers but not batsmen. We saw a sparkling talented young bud which is just 20 years old after a long time. HAIDER ALI KHAN. He was born on 2 October 2000.

From 2018 to 2020, this young bud made debuts of his first-class, domestic, and finally, he made it to his international debut for Pakistan. He is pure talent and made headlines from 2018 to 2020 on his impressive batting skills. He performed a dazzling stroke play against India in the U-19 cricket world cup 2020.

This young talented bud said, “BEING SELECTED IN PAKISTAN T20I SQUAD AGAINST ENGLAND IS NOTHING BUT A DREAM COMES TRUE”. Ali made it to the international side after a successful season of first-class & domestic cricket.

Haider smashed 645 first-class runs at 46.92 and bashed 239 runs at a triggering strike rate of 158.27 in Pakistan super league 2020. In HBLPSL5, he was selected by Peshawar Zalmi, and his 14 sixes were the most by any zalmi player in the 5th edition of the league.

What’s more exciting about Haider is that he is the youngest player of HBLPSL to score a half-century so far. This dazzling bud also holds the record of being the youngest one to score a half-century on his international debut against England.

The big-name of Pakistan cricket has praised Haider, “YOUNIS KHAN,” also the Pakistan cricket team’s batting coach. He said, “Haider has that will and skill which turn a youngster into a good player. He has that spark, and he is always eager to learn. I believe he is an upcoming star of Pakistan, and he will perform whenever he gets a chance. “He is strong, and his fitness is improving day-by-day. He has a bright future and the ability to play all formats for Pakistan,”

Being praised by such a big name in such a wonderful way really boosts up one’s morale. And so happens with Haider in the HBLPSL 6th edition. He is again playing for Peshawar Zalm and gives a match-winning knock in 3 crucial games so far. Haider Ali continues his spectacular form with a firing strike rate and seems to be improving and his skills nourishing day by day. Haider Ali khan admires Indian batsman Rohit Sharma and wants to play like him.

Still, Haider said, “Comparisons with Rohit Sharma makes him uncomfortable because Rohit Sharma is such a big name and already achieved so much”

Haider Ali earned himself the title of “Future of Pakistan” in such a short time and age, of course. However, his exceptional batting skills, consistency & brilliantly triggering strike rate should be appreciated more and more.

PCB should start working on him because these kinds of gems are scarce in Pakistan cricket. Haider Ali has just started his journey, and there are many records, titles, and praises waiting for him. PCB should polish him, guide him, and should utilize him for Nation’s sake.

This champ really needs counseling, guidance, and analysis on his weak and strong areas. He should be groomed and should be given enough chances. Cricket freaks, experts, and former senior players should give him time & tips instead of using less and senseless bashing because he is just 20, and there are many things to learn.

Fans should not compare him with his ideal because if something makes him uncomfortable, that will surely affect his performance. We all need to understand that our players are our pride, and we should not compare them with others.

In fact, we should back them, respect them, motivate them and make them BIG PLAYERS. We have seen so many players, the talented ones, who are actually wasted by our board. Along with the board, We all should show some responsibility and make our players comfortable playing their natural game instead of comparing them with other big stars.

We should give them the confidence they need and deserve. We have seen in big events like World cups & Asia cups on most of the TV channels some of our former players are making senseless analysis on National team playing in such a big international event and bash them in a blunt way which is not really cool, and this definitely affects the morale.

By grooming and polishing players, we don’t mean to work on their batting or bowling skills. We should give them the freedom to play their natural game, showcasing their real talent without the fear of being dropped from the team.

We have got a gem like Haider Ali, and we hope for more Haider in coming times. The main task is to polish Haider, groom him, guide him and utilize him. Give him the right to play his natural game and provide him enough chances to settle himself and serve his country the way he dreamed. We wish Haider the very best for his shining future.
