Pak vs SA: Abid Ali’s downfall in the first innings of the Karachi test was not something shocking to witness. His horrendous form in red-ball cricket is continuing as he gets stuck to inconsistency.

The poor selection of shots and not getting the bowler’s deliveries have been the two major issues Abid is suffering. If one takes a look at his last eleven test innings, the batsman has gone far fifty just once along with two ducks.

0, 16, 20, 60, 1, 42, 25, 0, 25, 26, and 4 are his last eleven scores that came up after he smashed 174 vs Sri Lanka in Karachi. Since then, he is struggling on may it be the foreign or the local pitches.

After the top-order of the Pakistan Cricket Team collided in the first innings, a few of the batsmen from the mid-over took charge to drag the score to 378. Fawad Alam played a crucial role in answering his critics as his third test hundred came up.

Rizwan and Babar went effortless, however, Faheem Ashraf played a crucial knock yet underrated and the game was further dragged by the lowest order Hasan Ali, Yasir Shah, and Nauman Ali.
